To facilitate successful admission, you have the option to enroll in a one-year preparatory course.
Educational programs are available in the Russian and English languages.
Starting from the third year, you'll have the opportunity to engage in hands-on training within actual hospital settings, allowing you to interact with patients and assist in surgical procedures.

Educational programs
If you wish to immerse yourself in the field of general medicine, you'll undergo six years of training. Alternatively, if your passion lies in dentistry, you can achieve your goals in just five years.

Collect all the necessary documents before submission:
1. Application for enrollment (application form in case of admission to preparatory courses).
2. A document on secondary education and a notarized translation of the document on education into Russian with an indication of the subjects studied and the grades obtained on them; the presence of certification in chemistry and biology is mandatory.
3. For admission to postgraduate education programs (residency, postgraduate studies): document on higher medical education (doctor's diploma) with an appendix and a notarized translation of the document into Russian;
4. Passport and notarized translation into Russian of the passport of a foreign citizen;
5. An agreement on tuition on a paid basis or an agreement on tuition on a budget basis when receiving a referral for training under the quota of the Government of the Russian Federation (more details);
6. 8 3x4 color matte photos.

In case of being admitted at PSMU, the procedure of getting into the Russian Federation and staying there is as follows:
If needed you may get an invitation to the Russian Federation for studies from PSMU, or from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, in case you are going to study at the expense of the Russian Federal budget.

Within 5 days before the date of your arrival, contact the Department of International Medical Education of PSMU bocharova.am@psma.ru, attach scans of your tickets and a valid visa to the email.

Within 90 days from your arrival in the Russian Federation, you are to undergo the procedure of a medical check up, including a fluorographic examination. Consult the employees of the Department of International Medical Education of PSMU for more details.
